What’s the best way of getting to Sturup Raceway?
Sturup Raceway is around 50 minutes by car from the centre of Copenhagen. We can offer preferential prices for crossing the Øresund Bridge. You can also make your own way to Sturup Raceway by train and bus via Malmö Central Railway Station. However this is less convenient. Read more under: Transport to Sturup Raceway

What about insurance?
All participants must sign an exemption of liability upon arrival – i.e. that driving is at their own risk. There is an excess of up to SEK 20,000 per self induced damage to the Touring Car/Formula car/Offroad car, with a maximum amount of 40.000 SEK for all cars used during the activity. For Porsche/Ferrari the excess is 60.000 SEK per self induced damaged car, with a maximum amount of 120.000 for all cars used during the activity. We offer an obligatory accident insurance to individuals taking part in track activities. The price is SEK 180 per person (excl. VAT) You can be sent a description of the cover on request.

What should you bring in terms of equipment and clothing?
Participants can borrow driving suits, crash helmets and gloves. You can also rent shoes (limited supply). In the event of rain or a muddy terrain, guests can borrow overalls. You should bring light clothing to wear under the driving suit and possibly, a change of clothing. It is recommended that participants wear light footwear, such as trainers, to get the optimum feel for the foot pedals while driving.

How old do you have to be to drive cars on Sturup Raceway?
The minimum age for driving go-karts and ATV motorcycles is 15. To drive cars, you must be 18 or above, and be in possession of a valid driving licence.

Who are the instructors?
Our permanent instructors have all taken their instructor diplomas and are licensed. They are also qualified in First Aid. Sturup Raceway also uses Jens Edman, Jan Magnussen, Ronnie Bremer and Carl Rosenblad as regular guest instructors. They can be booked for events when their diary allows.

Can you visit Sturup raceway without racing?
Everyone is welcome to visit us when there are open activities and events. Exciting activities take place at Sturup Raceway the whole year round. If you would like to take a closer look at the facilities on offer, please call us.
