Have you ever dreamed of sitting behind the wheel of a racing car? At Sturup Raceway you and your friends have a unique opportunity to be ”racing drivers for a day” and experience the ultimate adrenaline kick in our Formula First cars, Go Karts and standard racing cars!

As a "racing driver for a day" you spend five hair-raising hours with our regular instructors, who are all professional racing drivers, such as Jan Magnussen and Jens Edman.

Sturup Raceways’ 2,087m long racing track has narrow bends and hills that challenge even the most experienced drivers. At the end of the day, you and your friends will know precisely what it feels like to be Michael Schumacher in a Formula car or Jan Magnussen in a standard racer - because you’ll have tried it yourself:

Standard racing cars tuned for racing and equipped with selespeed gearboxes.

Formula First
The ultimate classic racing car and a real little Formula One racer – the nearest relative to the Formula One racer!
The relationship between engine power and own weight turns them into small rockets on the track.

Dino Leisure Go-Kart
These go-karts have a top speed of over 100 km per hour. As you’re seated only a few centimetres from the ground you feel as if you’re doing 200!



The day offers a combination of instruction and racing.
As we want to make sure that you have the best possible experience at Sturup Raceway, the day’s programme offers full instruction between the various activities. By the end of the day, you’ll know exactly what it means to be a professional racing driver.

The “racing driver for a day” programme could look like this:
- Instruction in an Alfa Romeo 147 Challenge
- Training in an Alfa Romeo Challenge where you follow the instructor’s car
- Training at higher speeds
- Introduction to Formula First
- Training – increased speeds, overtaking allowed! – instruction in go-karts
- Training (competition optional)
- Close – diploma/presentation ceremony

NB! We offer both events as a "closed day" for you and your friends or an “open” event where you can take part on your own or give a day as a racing driver as a present to a lucky recipient.

You can also end the day with a drive in a red Ferrari!
Keep your adrenalin pumping till the end and go for a high-speed spin in a Ferrari. Then head for Custom House in Copenhagen and round off the day with a delicious dinner.  If you prefer to stay in Sweden, we can also arrange dinner and overnight accommodation at the luxurious Häckeberga Slott nearby.

The price is DKK 4,995 incl. VAT and insurance (excluding the drive in a Ferrari, dinner at Custom House and overnight accommodation at Häckeberga Slott).
