STCC to return to the Sturup Raceway in 2008. Watch the prefinal from 2007 while you are waiting.

While we are waiting for 2008 to come around, and STCC returns to the Sturup Raceway, you can watch the breath-taking final in the penultimate stage of the STCC, which took place on Sunday, 16 September 2007.

For the second time this season, Sturup Raceway played host to the very best in Swedish motor sport for an event that combined drama, speed and excitement! Track manager Flemming Schleimann talks about Sturup being chosen again: "Following our first STCC race in the spring, we made substantial improvements for the public, the teams and the drivers. Amongst other things, we made major investments in the course and we extended both the spectator and grandstand areas."

"And the reports we got back following the prefinal on 16 September - from the STCC, the teams and the general public - were all really positive. We are therefore really proud that in 2008 we will have another opportunity to host two STCC stages, one of which will be the prefinal, as in 2007. And since everything was decided and the champion was selected in the prefinal this year, we will obviously be expecting a full house for next year's prefinal. Imagine missing out on seeing the champion being selected!"
